Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in Place Eyshadow Base

I love making different kind of looks with the make up that I have, and I know that sometimes might looks might be over done, for school, but honestly I don't care because I love playing around with and I want to use the lovely products that I am surrounded with and with the products that I have spend my precious money one buying.

When you do use eyeshadows and wear them not only at night when you are going out, but also during the day then you want something to make it last longer, and I have been testing out a new primer or at least its new for me. I haven't heard so much about this primer so I thought why not talk about it myself.

The primer I am talking about is the Double Wear Stay-in Place Eyeshadow Base From Estée Lauder. This Eyeshadow base is a part of the double wear collection as you can hear on the name. Before I'll tell you what I think about it, I would like to state what Estée Lauder says about the product, they claim that:

"Keeps your eye color in place with 15-hour staying power and keeps it smooth and crease-free."

The product is Dermatologist-tested, ophthalmologist-tested and Fragrance free, which I really like. This eyeshadow base cost $16 on their online store.

When I started using this product then I didn't really knew how to make it work, because it did crease on me, which I of course didn't expect. Then I started to change the things I was doing before I applied it, like not putting any foundation on my eyelids, and things like that, but it still didn't work, BUT then I discovered my mistake...I put way too much on of this product. You only need a really thin layer and when I started using a thin layer then it made my eyeshadow last a lot longer than it did before.

I have to say that I love the eyeshadow sticks from Gosh which I have used as my eyeshadow base for years, and I also like the Urban Decay primer potion. I can't say that this eyeshadow base is the most amazing one that I have ever tried, but it does make your eyeshadow last, and it is easy to work with as well.

It will work for all skin types, and it will last you a long time. I will continue to use this primer, but I'm not sure that I will return to it, because there are so many more primers I want to try out there and I love my Color tattoo as eyeshadow bases as well.

If you need an eyeshadow base in a flesh tone then I would by this one, because it is good, not amazing and wow, but just normally good, and I use it everyday so I do really like it.

I hope you all have a good day :)

Clinique naturally gentle eye makeup remover

Everyday we put make up on and every evening we take our make up off, which isn't always as easy as putting the make up on. I have been a wipe kind of girl for a long time, but then I started to look through the products that I have and saw that I have a lot of make up remover to go through. So I starter with the "Clinique naturally gentle eye makeup remover".

I have been using this for quiet a while now,  and the thing is I have always used wipes and then washed my face afterwards and used my skin routine. While I have been using it I haven't used wipes, but then I had to stay over a night and I only had wipes with me and right there in that bathroom in Copenhagen I realized how easy it is to use a creamy eye makeup remover. I had to hold the wipe against my eye to make the mascara come more workable and I normally don't have problems with that when I use the "Clinique naturally gentle eye makeup remover".

It's a white creamy consistency and it does have a smell to it, but it is not an overwhelming smell, and it doesn't feel like its a strong perfumed product that you are about to place on your eyes. It is allergy tested and its 100% perfume free, which I have always loved about Clinique's products.

This is what Clinique themselves says about this product:

"Clinique's gentlest eye makeup remover. Rich, creamy lotion spreads evenly, quickly. Effectively removes all signs of makeup without leaving an oily after-feel. As gentle to the eyes as tears. For all skin types. Ophthalmologist Tested. Appropriate for contact lens wearers.""

The way that I use it is I apply a small amount on each eye lid and then I slowly and softly rub on my lids without pulling and making sure that I get all of my mascara soften so I can swipe it away with a cotton ball, then when I think it is ready to get off I swipe it off. Sometimes I haven't found my cotton ball before I applied it so I have to open my eyes to get one, and that can sting a little bit, but nothing that really hurts, and my make up gets off so easily I don't have to pull or anything just swipe a cotton ball over my lids and then the make up is removed.

I love using this because it is so easy and it doesn't leave a oily feeling afterwards which I think is really nice. I would buy this product again, because it is so easy to work with and it does really work, I have tried with coats and coats of mascara and eye liner, and everything has easily come off with this make up remover, so it is worth the money, but on the other hand I'm sure that you can find another good make up remover that is a lot cheaper, since this product is $18.

I have another Clinique make up remover that I need to try out and I can't wait after the good results that I have gotten with this one, the down side is that it is only a eye make up remover, but sometimes if I have left overs on my fingers I rub it on my skin to get my foundation of, but with the purpose this product has it works perfectly.

Enjoy your day! :)

Gosh Quattro Eye Shadow Review

Gosh is the first make up brand that I have bought a mascara from. They are a brand that does not use parfume in there products, even though they are a drugstore brand they are in the high end of the price range.

Gosh is a brand that has a good quality and I think they have a lot of good products, the things that I have had from Gosh or still have from Gosh is products that I love using and things that I do reach for.

Today I would like to talk about their Quattro Eye Shadow. As you properly can guess from the name then it has four eye shadow in each of them.  I have two that I want to talk about and I'll start with the one that I bought first, which was at the time where smokey eyes just had arrived and was the brand new thing to do with make up.

This one is called Q 24 Platinum which is a very suited named for all of these colors. If we look at these for colors then it is a very good combination of colors put together. We have this white color with some shimmer in which will be perfect as a highlight just under the brow bone, but you could also use it as a highlight on your face if that's what you wanted.

The color next to the white is a kind of brown grayish taupe color  which is the color that I have used the more from this palette because it is so beautiful and it kind of reminds me of "40 Permanent Taupe" from the Maybelline's color tattoo collection, which I also just love.

Under the taupe color is a silver eye shadow which has a very nice finish, it's not metallic, but its more soft yet you can still see the silver. I have used this color a lot like highlight in the inner corner of my eyes, or made it very sheer and placed on the middle of my eyelid to make it pop more.

The next color is the dark gray color that is next to the silver. I like that they didn't put a black into this little palette, because that can be too harsh sometimes, and this dark gray is really beautiful and it goes really well with the silver color, just those two colors by themselves looks so gorgeous.

All in all this is a really good palette to have because it is so easy to create different looks with this one, like take the white shadow all over your eye lid and use the dark gray as an eyeliner and you have a beautiful look for a night out.  What I also like about this palette is that you can make a soft look, but you can also build the grey color so it looks like a black color.

The other palette is a more natural everyday use type of palette this palette is called Q 22 Driftwood, in some way I kinda of like that name for this little palette. 22 Driftwood was the second palette that I bought from Gosh and it is the palette that I have had the most use out of. My pallet is totally warned out and one of the colors is totally gone, because I have used it so much and I have loved it all the way and I still love this palette because it is so easy to take with and you can use it in a lot of different ways.

If you don't like buying a lot of make up or you don't use a lot of make up, but you would still like to have something around to use once in a while then this one is perfect.

I would like to start with saying that this picture is not a creation of mine, I tried to take a picture of mine, but it's such a mess and color number 3 on my is completely empty so I found another picture to show you the colors in this palette. I also think this pictures shows the colors of this palette very good.

Color number 1 is a shimmery, creamy white color. It is not as white as the one in the Platinum palette this white is more warm toned and fits with the other 3 brown colors and I really love this creamy white color. It is a really beautiful highlighter and I think they hit spot on with this color for this palette.

Color number 2 is this medium brown color. This brown is more warmed toned than the darker brown is in this palette.

I have often used color number 2 as a crease color or alone on my lid, it's a really beautiful brown color that isn't too dark and it isn't too light if you want a natural look, with a twist of party in it.

The next color is color number 3 and that is a really nice matt brown, it looks like it has a bit of shimmer, but it doesn't come of as shimmery when you place it on the lid. This color is amazing when you need a natural everyday look, but it can also be used to help create that natural smokey eye. I don't have any more left of this color in my palette because I have used it so much because it's such a useable color.

Color number 4 is a cold toned dark brown which is a perfect color in the crease and if you like a dark look then number 2 and 4 is good together, because one is warm and the other one is cold, so it does make a difference in the colors and it gives a beautiful look.

I have enjoyed both of these palettes and I know that Gosh has making these small palettes even better with a new formula and a new packing, which is even smaller than then one I have now. If I had to choose between these two palettes then I would differently choose Driftwood because thats the palette I have had most use out of and because you can both make a dramatic look,  but you can also make a beautiful natural look, which is very import to that you can use it for more than one purpose.

I would repurchase Driftwood, because it has some really good colors, but on the other hand if you have the Naked eye palette 1 or 2 then you don't need this one at all, but if you just need a little palette to use once in a while or everyday with good quality then this is a perfect thing to buy and if you buy both then you can make a lot of different looks.

I hope you all have a good day :)
