BB Cream From Garnier

I have heard so much about this BB cream and now I found in a store for an okay price so I pulled myself together and finally bought it. When I came home from the store I quickly took the little tube out of the box and swathed on my hand to see the color. I bought in light which is a perfect color for me it blends right into my skin, which I was very happy about since I know a lot people have problems with the colors not matching with their skin tone.
There are a some different versions of this BB cream, so remember to look at the color before you buy it.

This is the swatches of the BB cream in light

This BB Cream claims that it:
  • Evens tone
  • Blurs lines & imperfections
  • Boosts healthy glow
  • 24H moisture
  • UVA/UVB - SPF 15
  • Vitamin C + Mineral Pigments
How to use:
It apply daily on clean skin as your would with your moisturizer to enhance the effect of the BB - cream covering effect then apply another layer.

I know some people use a moisturizer because they apply their BB cream even though it is a moisturizer. The first time I tried my BB cream was the same day I bought because I just couldn't wait to try it out to see how the color would turn out on my face even though it worked perfectly on my hand, but that doesn't always mean that it will work on your face and match with your neck. The first time I applied it to my face had I just removed my old make up and done nothing else to my skin.

The BB cream felt nice on my skin and it didn't really matter that I just had removed my old make up and applied this on my skin even though it says your skin should be cleaned before you apply it. It didn't matter here. The next day I of course cleaned my skin before I used the BB cream and I also applied my moisturizer just before I applied this BB cream. It didn't really make any difference in the way it felt on my skin. I really do like this BB cream, but I have to say after trying the famous BB cream from Skin79 thats bright pink, this BB cream from Garnier does feel more like a tinted moisturizer, but on the other hand it doesn't.

I am going to use this product, because I do like that way it feels on my skin and I also like to use it, even though it doesn't last all day on my skin, but it easy to just reapply the BB cream to wear you think you could need to freshen up.

The coverage of this BB cream isn't amazing, but it isn't bad either.  I have very red cheeks sometimes, and I use a green concealer to cover it (I know a lot of people doesn't like them, but I love them just as much as I love a regular concealer), but I of course wanted to see the how much coverage this BB cream gives, when you don't have an even skin tone. When I applied the BB cream to my face, it didn't cover my redness that well, but I did find a solution to that. I applied the BB cream to my whole face and let it set for a moment, then I reapplied the BB on my cheeks to give it extra coverage, it just took a small amount to cover them just a bit more.

It didn't do a fantastic job, but it was good enough for me. I really like wearing this BB cream and it isn't that expensive, so I will properly repurchase this BB cream again, because there is nothing wrong with this product.

I don't know if it does qualify as a BB cream, more than it qualifies as a tinted moisturizer, but it is a product that is worth the money, and would be really good if you like to wear make up thats not too heavy.

Now I'll go out and enjoy the beautiful weather I hope you all have a good day :)

Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow

So lately there has been popping a lot Burberry make up, up in the different kind of reviews and youtube videos, which kind of reminded me that I have this little palette from Burberry that I have hidden away and totally forgotten about. I thought that now might be a good time to stop hiding it and make a small review about it.

The palette as contains four different colors and it's called Sheer eye Shadow Pearl Grey No. 03.
These colors are sheer when you apply them, but they are also build able which is lovely because you can use them to create a lot of different looks, some stronger than others. I know that Emilynoel83 has just made a video about metallic neutral shadows and this little palette would have fitted in perfect, because it does have a metallic finish which is really beautiful.

The shadows are really easy to work with and they have a beautiful soft texture which is just lovely to touch and work with. As you can see in the picture above then it have a sprong applicator with and it also has a nice mirror with it as well.

Then we finally come to the important part of the review the colors it selves. I took a close up of the shadows so you really could see them and their metallic finish.

I'm sorry they aren't as pretty as they used to be, but you can still see the pattern in some of them.

If we start at the left corner with the beautiful creamy pearly white highlighter, it is a really nice highlighter it will pop beautifully in the corner of your eye.

The color next to the creamy white is a pretty rosa color with a golden glitter, except there isn't any  junks of glitter in them so its more a golden metallic finish in it, which is really pretty.

Below the  rosa golden pink is a brown/golden kind of color, which is also very beautiful.

At last we have this dark brown/copper color which is really pretty on the eyes, you just have to control it so it won't look like you have been crying your eyes out for days, because it has the ability to do the same thing as if you wear to much pink eye shadow and you look like you have been crying for days, so just keep that in mind.

I have created a look with this palette and on one eye I have only a neutral primer under and on the other I have a NYX Jumbo eye pencil in oyster under the eye shadow to make it pop more and I don't know if you can see it but on my right eye is the eye where I'm wearing the NYX jumbo pencil under in Oyster which is a lavender color and on my left eye I'm wearing the neutral primer from Estee Lauder.

On my right eye the pink pops a bit more than it does on my left eye. You also get to see the metallic finish that these eye shadows has. They look beautiful on the eyes, but then again I would like to bring up emilynoel83 who has a video about metallic neutrals and to find a cheaper alternative then check out her videos because she is amazing.

I have to say that the golden/brown and the cooper/  dark brown reminds too much of each other when you apply them, which is kind of sad, because both of them are so pretty, but when you start to apply them then they blend into each and it feels like you are only wearing of them even though you are wearing both of them. I always think that it is the golden color that disappears, and I haven't found a way to make them work without them looking like the same color.

I have taken some swatches, but I don't know how good they are, but here you can kind of see that the two dark colors look a lot a like, which they shouldn't, because they don't in the palette and why would you pay for the two same colors.

I don't know if this is something that you just got to have, because it isn't that special then I think that burberry has a lot of other products that are worth trying out, than this one. You can find a lot of colors that looks like these, which is just as good, so I wouldn't waste my money on this one, I would wait until I found something else that had a more WOW effect than this one does. It's good quality, but it's nothing special that you can't find somewhere else.

I wish all of you a good day :)

Voluminous Mascara By L'ORÉAL Review

Voluminous Mascara by L'ORÉAL has been a very hyped mascara and as a person that love to try find a good mascara I of course went out and bought it when I found it on sale (lucky me!) Because not only would I get to try this mascara I also got it fairly cheap.

When I started to use this mascara I honestly have to say that I hated it! I really really hated it! The formula was way to wet for my liking and when 5 mins had past after i applied it, it would be under my eyes, which is the last place you want your mascara to be. I tried to use it a couple of times, but I still didn't like it. Then a couple of days ago, I got a lot of new make up and wanted to make room for and I also want to use up some of the products that I already have because they should be use, otherwise it's just a waste of money and you can't always try something new sometimes you need to say stop and then use the things that you already have.

So yesterday I sat and looked at the experience dates on my make up, which is this little jar that's open and then in the jar that might be writen '6 M' which means that when you have opened up the product then it can last for 6 months and then it's done, which is what a lot of mascara can last. Anyway I was sitting there looking through my make up and I decided to use some of the mascaras that I have because I have so many and I mainly use Cover Girl Lash Blash Volume which is the best mascara ever if you ask me, I haven't found a better mascara than that one, but that doesn't mean that I don't like to try new mascaras.

I started sorting out in my mascaras and decided to try the Voluminous again, because I need to use it up I am not just going to throw it out. So today when I was doing my make up I used the Voluminous and I was really surprised. This mascara didn't flake as it did when I just bought it. The formula has of course dried up and now it is perfect for my use and for my liking. I even tested it out, I have been to the movies and I laughed a lot during the movie and it still didn't flake or anything like that. It also does a good job at giving my lashes volume it still won't beat my Cover Girl Last Blash mascara, because that mascara has one my heart since the first time I used it.

This mascara claims that it won't clump and I don't think it does now, but the first time I used it, it really did clump. I have to say that I properly won't buy this mascara again, because I don't think it's a wonderful mascara, but it is a good mascara, and it doesn't have a funny strong smell like some mascaras does. It's a fairly good mascara and it can be used, but for me the formula needs to dry a bit before I can use it and like the result that I get. From now on I will use it until it's empty and ready to go to the trash can, but if I have to go to something important then it will be switched out with my Cover Girl Lash Blash, because I know it delivers ever time.

As you can see in the picture then it is a medium wand and it has bristles and its not a rubber wand which makes it a bit easier to apply the mascara to the outer corner of your eyelashes. I do like the brush it's easy to work with, the only thing is that you need to remember to wipe the end of the brush of on the tube before you use it otherwise you'll have way too much product on the wand and it will be placed all the wrong places.

But to make a little summary then I won't repurchase this mascara, because I think there is a lot better mascaras out there that does a better job than this mascara does on my eyelashes. I have medium eyes lashes, but with the Lash Blash mascara I am able to build my lashes up so they look pretty voluminous and long, but I think this starts to be clumpy if you build it too much on your lashes, and it just doesn't look good or at least I don't like that look on myself.

But all in all it is a good mascara when it has dried up a bit in my opinion, and who would buy a mascara open and then let it dry up a bit to use it? Then I rather buy a mascara and be able to use it right away, which is the point.

Have a good day everybody! :)

Gosh Quattro Eye Shadow Review

Gosh is the first make up brand that I have bought a mascara from. They are a brand that does not use parfume in there products, even though they are a drugstore brand they are in the high end of the price range.

Gosh is a brand that has a good quality and I think they have a lot of good products, the things that I have had from Gosh or still have from Gosh is products that I love using and things that I do reach for.

Today I would like to talk about their Quattro Eye Shadow. As you properly can guess from the name then it has four eye shadow in each of them.  I have two that I want to talk about and I'll start with the one that I bought first, which was at the time where smokey eyes just had arrived and was the brand new thing to do with make up.

This one is called Q 24 Platinum which is a very suited named for all of these colors. If we look at these for colors then it is a very good combination of colors put together. We have this white color with some shimmer in which will be perfect as a highlight just under the brow bone, but you could also use it as a highlight on your face if that's what you wanted.

The color next to the white is a kind of brown grayish taupe color  which is the color that I have used the more from this palette because it is so beautiful and it kind of reminds me of "40 Permanent Taupe" from the Maybelline's color tattoo collection, which I also just love.

Under the taupe color is a silver eye shadow which has a very nice finish, it's not metallic, but its more soft yet you can still see the silver. I have used this color a lot like highlight in the inner corner of my eyes, or made it very sheer and placed on the middle of my eyelid to make it pop more.

The next color is the dark gray color that is next to the silver. I like that they didn't put a black into this little palette, because that can be too harsh sometimes, and this dark gray is really beautiful and it goes really well with the silver color, just those two colors by themselves looks so gorgeous.

All in all this is a really good palette to have because it is so easy to create different looks with this one, like take the white shadow all over your eye lid and use the dark gray as an eyeliner and you have a beautiful look for a night out.  What I also like about this palette is that you can make a soft look, but you can also build the grey color so it looks like a black color.

The other palette is a more natural everyday use type of palette this palette is called Q 22 Driftwood, in some way I kinda of like that name for this little palette. 22 Driftwood was the second palette that I bought from Gosh and it is the palette that I have had the most use out of. My pallet is totally warned out and one of the colors is totally gone, because I have used it so much and I have loved it all the way and I still love this palette because it is so easy to take with and you can use it in a lot of different ways.

If you don't like buying a lot of make up or you don't use a lot of make up, but you would still like to have something around to use once in a while then this one is perfect.

I would like to start with saying that this picture is not a creation of mine, I tried to take a picture of mine, but it's such a mess and color number 3 on my is completely empty so I found another picture to show you the colors in this palette. I also think this pictures shows the colors of this palette very good.

Color number 1 is a shimmery, creamy white color. It is not as white as the one in the Platinum palette this white is more warm toned and fits with the other 3 brown colors and I really love this creamy white color. It is a really beautiful highlighter and I think they hit spot on with this color for this palette.

Color number 2 is this medium brown color. This brown is more warmed toned than the darker brown is in this palette.

I have often used color number 2 as a crease color or alone on my lid, it's a really beautiful brown color that isn't too dark and it isn't too light if you want a natural look, with a twist of party in it.

The next color is color number 3 and that is a really nice matt brown, it looks like it has a bit of shimmer, but it doesn't come of as shimmery when you place it on the lid. This color is amazing when you need a natural everyday look, but it can also be used to help create that natural smokey eye. I don't have any more left of this color in my palette because I have used it so much because it's such a useable color.

Color number 4 is a cold toned dark brown which is a perfect color in the crease and if you like a dark look then number 2 and 4 is good together, because one is warm and the other one is cold, so it does make a difference in the colors and it gives a beautiful look.

I have enjoyed both of these palettes and I know that Gosh has making these small palettes even better with a new formula and a new packing, which is even smaller than then one I have now. If I had to choose between these two palettes then I would differently choose Driftwood because thats the palette I have had most use out of and because you can both make a dramatic look,  but you can also make a beautiful natural look, which is very import to that you can use it for more than one purpose.

I would repurchase Driftwood, because it has some really good colors, but on the other hand if you have the Naked eye palette 1 or 2 then you don't need this one at all, but if you just need a little palette to use once in a while or everyday with good quality then this is a perfect thing to buy and if you buy both then you can make a lot of different looks.

I hope you all have a good day :)

Ole Henriksen: Walnut Complexion Scrub

I have just started using Ole Henriksen products. I have bought one of his startes kit for normal/combination skin.  I have wanted to try his products for a while now and then I finally got myself to buy this starter kit. Ole Henriksen is kind of pricy which is why I haven't bought his products before even though I haven't really heard anything bad about his products.

I found this starter kit online for a really good price and you get 6 products in this starter kit. I haven't used the other products enough to review them yet, but when I have I will make a complete review of the whole kit.

This Walnut Complexion scrub was one of the 6 products that were in the the starter kit. This scrub is to replace the On The Go Cleanser that is in the kit, even though it is for all skin types.

I don't know if you can see it on the picture, but it's kind of brownish creamy substance with some white shiny lines in-between the brownish creamy substance. Then there are different kind of brown beans in this creamy brownish white substance.

When it comes to the smell of this scrub then it's delicious if you like the scent of marzipan and some kind of sweets. Its smells wonderful to me because I like these types of sweet scents in the products that I use. I think that this scrub smells very naturally and it's not like this scent has been forced on this product, like they sometimes do to make it smell better. This just smells good and the scent won't linger on your skin after you have used it, so it's only when you use the product that you have the scent of marzipan or something sweet like it.

When I used this scrub for the first time I of course used the directions that are on the back of this jar.

"DIRECTIONS: Wet face, now spread  a generous layer of the scrub over the face and work into skin in tiny circular motions  for 1-2 minutes. Rinse well. Use twice weekly in place of your regular Ole Henriksen cleanser."

So I followed these directions when I used it for the first time. The thing was I took a good amount of the product, but I didn't need a lot of product at all. I had way too much product on my hands when my face already was covered in this scrub. I have to say that if you like a soft scrub thats not too rough then this is not the one to go after. I was very surprised when I started gently rubbing my face with this how rough it was, but it didn't hurt my skin in anyway it was just a lot rougher than I thought it would be.

When I was done using it, my skin were nice and soft and felt like a baby. I love using this product because you really feel like it does the job its supposed to do. I felt like my skin were a lot cleaner after I had used it and that it really helped clear my skin from all the dirt that had been on it. When you use it you just have to make sure that your face is wet enough and that you don't rub too harsh.

Even though it is such a good scrub it is still a bit pricy and if you don't have the money to buy this then don't be sad about it, I know for a fact that there are other just as good scrubs out there that has the same affect as this one from Ole Henriksen.

But if you want an experience then this is the product to get. I didn't just get a scrub that is really good in quality, but also in quantity because you really don't have to use a lot of this scrub to make it do its job. I have an amazing experience from when I opened the little jar, looking at it, touching it and smelling it. To the first time I used it, so having to wait to use it again. It's a product that I can't wait to use, because my skin feels amazing after I have used it and when I use it I get to smell this sweet scent that I just adore.

But all in all if you don't have the money for it then you can find another scrub that is just as good and does the same job, but if you can find this one on sale or get a good deal then go ahead and do it, because you are going to love the feeling and the use of this products or at least I did.

So far I have had a really good experience with Ole Henriksen products.

Have a good day everybody :)

Bed Head: Dumb Blond review

Hair! Is something all of us have to deal with everyday, sometimes its easy to deal with and other times you just feel like ripping it out of your head so you don't have to deal with it anymore. I have this lovely  very thick hair, that easily gets greasy if you put too much product into it, but on the other hand it can handle a good amount of products.

My hair is a dark dirty blond with highlights in to give it some kind of twist, so it's mostly blond. As I said above my hair is very thick and it's not always easy to work with, sometimes its just impossible to get it to do anything that will look good. I have a natural wave in my hair, and it does hold curls fairly well (it depends on what kind of curling ion it is) and it also keeps straight for a bit, when I decide to straighten my hair.

I'm a girl that started to play around with her hair a bit late. I have always had the same haircut which you can't really call a hair cut because it was just long hair stopped below my chest maybe a bit longer, so as I said not really a cut that you need to take that much care of or style for that matter. I got a hair cut once a year nothing more. My routine didn't really contain anything important I woke up in the morning combed my hair and that was about it, I didn't style it or made an undo even though I had plenty hair to do it with. But things change so around when I was 14 I had my confirmation and I got made curls in my hair, permeant curls, and my hair got cut so it stopped around my shoulders and I started to die it blond, and after that I have tried to be a brunette, and brown reddish as well, but now I'm back with the blond hair again :)

Long story I know, but my point with all of this is that when I turned from brown to blond again it totally ruined my hair completely and it has just started to become normal and pretty again and now I only get highlights in my hair I don't die my whole hair.

Lately I have experimented with some different kind of shampoos, but inexpensive and a bit more high end shampoos, just to see if I could get some of the moisture back into my hair again, since I am still ruining it with the bleach.

I have tunred to the Bed head family for a rescue session for my hair and it has helped my hair a lot and I just love their products. The first thing that I ever tried from the Bed head series was the dumb blond Shampoo and conditioner made for blond hair. I always research the things that i buy when they are expensive because I don't want to buy something that a lot of people says isn't good when I use my money on something else. I read about Dumb blond and I finally decide to try it out.

I bought a set from the side www.beautybay.com the set contained the Dumb Blond shampoo, conditioner and the leave in conditioner.

The Shampoo has a slight color of purple/pinkish and the conditioner has a slight color of yellow, where as the leave in conditioner is just pure white.
All of the products has the same kind of smell, I have really tried to think of a way to describe this smell that these products have, but I just don't know how to explain it. It's a kind of sweet smell and it reminds me of summer and of freshness (if thats a word?). You have to like the smell, because it will set in your hair and stay there for some time.

I have often had people say to me that my hair smelled good, after I had used this set.

When I started using this i could clearly feel the difference in my hair, and I started using a lot less products in my hair, because it would become so greasy, since my hair didn't need all of the extract moisture that I added to it. I cut down on my use of extract products and I didn't both use the Moroccan oil and the leave in conditioner, because then my hair turned into a giant greasy ball.

All in all I have to say that the Dumb blond series is a really good series and it is worth the money and I will repurchase it again. I don't know if I'll buy the leave in conditioner again, because I still have a lot of it left even though it is a really good product and if you want a good leave in conditioner then this is the one to get. I just didn't feel like I needed the Leave in conditioner because the shampoo and the conditioner works so well, so if you have other  products that you just love then chose them instead of investing money on the leave in conditioner, even though its just as good as the shampoo and conditioner.

This product helped my hair back on track and I became really fond of it and I still am. It's a product you'll never forget and when you hear people talk about you'll smile and think about the wonders that it did for your hair :)

I wish you all a good day :)
