Beauty Blender!

So I have heard a lot of hype about the Beauty Blender so I decided to buy it and try it out for myself and I have to say that I really like it. It is so easy to use and if you make a mistake with your blush then you just gently stipple with the Beauty blender over your cheek and it blends in so naturally.

What I do when I use it is I make sure that it is really soaked and then I squeezes it dry and gently wrap a towel around it making sure I got all of the water out of it so it's only damped, and then I lay it on my make up table as I apply my primer and my eye make up and then I apply my foundation, so when I use the Beauty Blender then its not soaking wet, which it shouldn't be, but it is damped. It is so easy to use you just either pump some foundation on your hand and then stipple it onto your skin or you pump it directly on the beauty blender and stipple it in.

I love the fact that it is damped so it doesn't soak up all of your foundation. I use it every morning because it doesn't make any marks on your face and it just makes a flawless look, which I love.

I would say if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a foundation brush, then the Beauty Blender is a good choice, because it can also be used to blend out your concealer so its like two in one.

It is also a lot easier to clean then one of my Sigma brushes so you don't have to spend so much time on cleaning it either which is a big plus and I didn't buy the cleanser that "belongs" to the beauty blender, I just use baby shampoo which works really good.

I know it might be a lot of money on a sponge, but if you see it on a sale then buy it because it is worth it. I sadly can't compare it to other sponges, but I do plan on trying out some others, and see if I can find a cheaper option to this sponge.

I hope this helped :)

Maybelline Dream Creamy Foundation Review

I'm a big fan of the Maybelline Dream Matt Mouse Foundation, because first of all its just so easy to work with and it gives the most beautiful look on the skin. Now I have finally tried the Maybelline Dream Creamy foundation. I can already say I'm a big fan of that one as well. I use the color 30 Sand, which just matches my skin perfectly, and there is nothing worse than when your foundation doesn't match at least not to me, so I'm glad that I have found the perfect color for me.

I like that this foundation is so easy to work with and it has some kind of cooling effect when you apply it. If feel a bit off or if my skin feels irritated or my skin is really red one day, then this is the foundation that I use. It feels so good on the skin and it's so easy to apply it takes no time. I have applied this with a sigma F 80 and a beauty blender and it works perfectly with both.

I don't think this foundation last all day, you do need to touch up, but with this foundation it's so easy to do the touch ups because this foundation doesn't look caky at all. It has such a natural finish and it feels so amazing on the skin. I wish it would last a bit better on the skin, but with the perfect primer then it might be perfect. For right now I love using it and I will buy this foundation again, because it is so easy.

It also hydrates your skin in a way I haven't felt in a foundation before, so this will be really good in the summer. It covers really well, I have really red cheeks and it covers it. You can built this foundation up because it won't cake on you, which I just love. It's so thin yet so effective, so defiantly something to try , and if you don't like it as a foundation, then use it as concealer :)

As you can see the package is a nice little compact solution, you have the foundation and a little sponge, so its easy to place in your back and have it with you during the day. So all in all I would try this foundation out and see if it works for you, because if it does then it's an amazing product, if not then it is a really good touch up product to care with you, but I will continue to use it as a foundation because I just love it.

Have a nice Weekend! :) <3

Esteé Lauder Ideal Light Brush-on Illuminator

So Illuminator is a big hit right now and everybody is trying to find the perfect one for them, doesn't matter if it is a high end or a drugstore one. Now I was so lucky to get a Esteé Lauder Ideal Ligh Brush-on Illuminator, which  I couldn't wait to try out.

When I started using this highligter/ concealer, then I honestly didn't like it at all. I felt like it was way to oily/ greasy feeling, which I didn't like, but I know that you have to use a product for some time before you can really decide if you like it or not.  I kept on using it, which I'm really happy about.

Mine is in 02 light medium which is a little bit too dark for me if it has to work as an Illuminator, but even though the color is a tat too dark it still brightens up my skin and I love using it under my eyes, because even though is starts out a bit greasy then when you work it into your skin then it is like it disappears along your dark circles and your puffy eyes. I use this every morning  under my eyes and then I use another concealer to cover my blemishes.

I have to say that the packing is made perfectly and it screams high end because it is so timeless and just looks good. The product that is on the inside is good, but I don't know if I would spend $26.50 (235 kr) on it, when you can find a drugstore Illuminator that works just as well.

Also since this isn't really the perfect color for me so it doesn't really give me the glowing effect that this  product should, but I would love to try it on it the soft pink color they have, because I think that it would give the perfect glow to the skin.

I'm not sure I would spend my money on this one, I might look around and find some other products that I would like more, but if I ever got to try it in a different color that suited me better then I would like that, because I like the texture of the product it self, since it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and it doesn't sit in your fine lines around your eyes, it simply disapears into your skin and covers what it should cover.

As You can see on the picture it is a brush that you apply your product with, you twist the end and then the product comes out of the brush, a really simple. I like the way it work and I don't think that there comes too much product out, which is nice.

I will use this up before I start on another product, because as I have mentioned a lot then the only thing that I am not so keen on is the color, but the product itself is really good.

I hope you all have a good day :)
