Bodyscrub is a must have in these cold months, its also important in the summer to, but in the winter it is a must! I wouldn't really call these body scrubs from the brand I love...<3, because they aren't really as rough as a normal bodyscrub or at least as what I would define as a bodyscrub. This scrub is a scrub that you can use everyday, because it is so soft and the beads in the scrub aren't so rough. 

It is a really creamy soft scrub, if that makes sense, with a yummy smell. I have tried these before, but when I saw them when I was on a shopping trip in Germany, then I couldn't resist because I love the smell of them. Lucky me they smell just like their name says they will smell, so i don't have to go into details with that. Right now I'm using the Mango & Papaya and it has a nice summer scent and I should probably have saved it for summer, but I have a papaya body butter from The Body shop that I'm trying to use up right now, so I thought these two products would make a nice pair, and they do. I love that is such a smooth scrub and I do use a scrub that is a bit more rough once in a while when I feel my skin needs it, otherwise this is enough for my dry skin, to make it look good and feel nice and smooth. I also bought hand creams that from this brand and I really like those as well. I can't really say anything bad about this product because you could use it as a normal body wash or you can use it as a scrub thats up to you. I use it everyday because it is so gentle, so it doesn't hurt my skin in anyway, and they aren't that expensive either so that is nice. I hope this helps a little bit if you should stumble over this brand.

NYX The Runway Collection - 03 Caviar & Bubbles Review

Neutral eyeshadows is always a good thing to have in your collection, because you can use them with everything and anything. You can also use them everyday and you can use them in the evening as well when you are going out. There has been a BIG hype around the Naked palettes from Urban Decay, which makes sense because they are really good palettes, and really beautiful palettes, BUT if you aren't a make up junkie and you just need a few neutrals that is easy to work with and is of good quality, then I would say invest in the NYX The Runway Collection in number 03 Caviar & Bubbles. 

 

This palette contains 10 eyeshadows of really good quality, and in a good neutral color range as well, as you can see in the picture. There is all the colors you need to create a beautiful day look and a dramatic night look.

 One of the things that I LOVE about this palette is that, it is so small, which makes it so easy to travel with and you don't need to really take other eyeshadows with unless, you want color, but if you are into neutrals then this is perfect and so easy to use. I haven't had any problems with these eyeshadows, they are also really easy to blend, and they look beautiful on the eyes, I just can't say enough good things about this lovely little palette.


 I regret not being more of them because I was looking at a palette where it was full of purple colors, but I put it back which I shouldn't have done. There is also one with green colors, grey, lighter colors, so its just finding the one that you will get the most use out of. I the thing is when the palette is so small then it doesn't matter if you have to take two with you because you won't notice, and even though the palette is small you still get a lot of eyeshadow, and it isn't expensive at all.  As you can hear then I love this palette and I will recommend it for everybody because its just really good.

Mascara Series: Cover Girl Last Blast

I live in Denmark, so when I go to the US I didn't bring a lot of make up, because I love buying new make up, and in the US they have a lot of brands that we don't have in Denmark and they are a lot cheaper. The first thing I ever bought was the Cover Girl Last Blast Mascara and I even remember applying it for the first time in Las Vegas where me and my sister were going out. I have loved that mascara ever since. I know there has been a big hype about it, and I also know that not every body is crazy about this mascara, which is normal. 

I have always had problems with mascara smudging on me, and this was the first mascara that didn't do that on me, and it was so easy to apply and it looks beautiful on my lashes. So I fell in love with this mascara and it is the only mascara I have back up of, because I just love it that much. 

It's so easy to apply even though the brush is so big, it just covers your lashes amazing.  It doesn't clump.  The mascara lasts all day,without smudging at all, and it also hold the curl. If I have something important to attend then this is always my first choice I don't think about it, I just pick this mascara its that good. One of the other things is that it isn't that expensive which is lovely. 

This is the best mascara ever at least for me it is and it is my favorite mascara and I have repurchased it multiple times before, and I like the brown, the brown/black and the pure black one and I have used all of them before. So for me this is a winner mascara.

Mascara Series: One By One Volume Express

So Mascara is something we all use almost everyday and which is something that should stay on our lashes and not create even darker bags under our eyes. I have a lot of mascaras that I have to go through , so I thought why not make a mascara series. So here it is! :) 

I have finally finished my Maybelline One by one volume express, which looks like this: 

I wasn't crazy about this mascara when I started using it, and I have to say that I never really am crazy about a mascara when I start use it, because I think you have to get used to a Mascara and you need to figure out how you put the mascara on the best with the brush that comes with the mascara. 

I didn't hate this one as I have done with some mascaras, but I have to say I have a love hate relationship with the brush. I really like how the brush work on this mascara and it might be a bit hard to see on the picture, but it's a very spiky brush if you can say it like that, its very pointy. In the beginning I had to get used to using it without it hurting my eye, but now that I have used it for a long time, it doesn't hurt my eyes  anymore, but the brush can be a bit rough against the eye. 

The mascara it self is good. I don't think its's amazing because I do see some darkness under my eyes, when I have used it for a little while, which I don't see with the Cover Girl lash blast and I love that Mascara, but it covers my eyelashes with a nice coat of mascara, and it doesn't clump with is a big thumps up for me! 

It's also good for separating your lashes, and for the price then I would by it just to use it to separate my lashes,  but then again it's not a bad mascara at all. It's not hard to remove either so you don't have to pull on your lashes with is nice. 

I feel like there is a lot of mascaras like this out there, so it hasn't left an big impression on me it was just another mascara I had to use up. If this was the only mascara left in the world then I wouldn't be sad about it, because it is a good mascara. 

I will give it 4 out of 5 :)

Esteé Lauder Ideal Light Brush-on Illuminator

So Illuminator is a big hit right now and everybody is trying to find the perfect one for them, doesn't matter if it is a high end or a drugstore one. Now I was so lucky to get a Esteé Lauder Ideal Ligh Brush-on Illuminator, which  I couldn't wait to try out. 

When I started using this highligter/ concealer, then I honestly didn't like it at all. I felt like it was way to oily/ greasy feeling, which I didn't like, but I know that you have to use a product for some time before you can really decide if you like it or not.  I kept on using it, which I'm really happy about. 

Mine is in 02 light medium which is a little bit too dark for me if it has to work as an Illuminator, but even though the color is a tat too dark it still brightens up my skin and I love using it under my eyes, because even though is starts out a bit greasy then when you work it into your skin then it is like it disappears along your dark circles and your puffy eyes. I use this every morning  under my eyes and then I use another concealer to cover my blemishes. 

I have to say that the packing is made perfectly and it screams high end because it is so timeless and just looks good. The product that is on the inside is good, but I don't know if I would spend $26.50 (235 kr) on it, when you can find a drugstore Illuminator that works just as well.

Also since this isn't really the perfect color for me so it doesn't really give me the glowing effect that this  product should, but I would love to try it on it the soft pink color they have, because I think that it would give the perfect glow to the skin.

I'm not sure I would spend my money on this one, I might look around and find some other products that I would like more, but if I ever got to try it in a different color that suited me better then I would like that, because I like the texture of the product it self, since it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and it doesn't sit in your fine lines around your eyes, it simply disapears into your skin and covers what it should cover. 



As You can see on the picture it is a brush that you apply your product with, you twist the end and then the product comes out of the brush, a really simple. I like the way it work and I don't think that there comes too much product out, which is nice. 

I will use this up before I start on another product, because as I have mentioned a lot then the only thing that I am not so keen on is the color, but the product itself is really good.

Summer Blush ELF & NARS

E.L.F's Blush In Glow
Peach/ Gold 

Blush is something most of us use so we don't look like zombies when we have created the perfect base with our foundation. Blush is one of the things that you can get in all kind of shapes, forms, consistency and colors. I have a lot of different kind of blushes and I have to say that there a lot more out there that I wish I had just because they look so pretty. 

The other day I  had just put my foundation and was looking through my blushes to see which one I would like to wear. I have had this love hate relationship with the famous Orgasm from NARS, it's like some times I love the finish it gives on my cheek and other times I think it just looks like I blowed glitter all over my cheeks. So I was looking at my NARS blush when I saw that my E.L.F blush in Glow was right next to it. So I decided to take the E.LF one and I just fell in love with it right there when it hit my cheeks. It gave the most beautiful glow on my cheeks. I started using this blush everyday and it gave the same beautiful glow everyday, and then I started to think about my NARS blush that was right next to this one dollar blush. 

I think that they have some kind of similarities, but if you watch Emily Noels dupe blush video then she won't agree and it isn't completely a match, but I do think that they come to have a very look a like finish when you both apply them, just the thing that I like Glow every time I apply it, whereas I'm not always crazy about orgasm. 

NARS Orgams
Peachy/Gold/Pinkish

Orgasm is a really beautiful blush sometimes I just think that there is way too much glitter in it, and it makes me look like a disco ball, which I don't like. Glow is really beautiful when you are a bit tan which means that it perfect for summer. I haven't done a review for neither of these blushes, but I'm sure of that when I have used up Glow from ELF then I will buy it again, where as when it comes to the NARS Orgasm then I'm not sure. Not only is it a lot of money for a blush (that last for a long time, but its still just a blush), but I don't like everytime I apply it. Sometimes I kind of wish I didn't apply it because all that comes of is just glitter. 

But thing is that sometimes you really shouldn't listen to the hype around products, and then on the other hand you should, because when I apply the NARS blush and it looks good then I love, because it also have this amazing glow when it doesn't only look like you applied glitter. All in all then I have to say that the ELF one for me at least gives the best glow, but if you a make upholic, but you don't have a lot of money to spend right now, then look into the ELF blushes because they are really good, and then if you get a bit more money later on and just really want to try the NARS Orgasm then do it, because when it looks good, then it looks damn good. 

Expensive doesn't always mean that it is the best product, that I think is awesome, have a good day :)
